ECHO Developmental Screening
One appointment opens up an entire community of support.
The ECHO Screening is a single point of entry into the many programs coordinated by the ECHO Council partnership.
We serve children birth to kindergarten and offer a comprehensive developmental check-up at no cost to the family.
The ECHO Screening is play-based and children love it! Parents also appreciate how much they learn about their child by observing the assessment. Parents learn if their child’s development is on track and what they can do to support their learning and growth at home.
-
The screening appointment begins with a conversation about the child’s strengths and challenges.
The ECHO Screening is a play-based assessment which engages your child in developmentally appropriate play activities.
The ECHO Screening will give caregivers a great sense of how a child is growing and developing.

-
The screening appointment begins with a conversation about the child’s strengths and challenges.
The ECHO Screening gives caregivers a clear overall picture of how the child is growing and developing.
The ECHO Screening will help determine if a child could use some extra support or if the child’s development is on track. Either way, families learn more about their child and how they can best support them!
-
Following the screening you will receive information about the programs your family might be eligible for like Universal Preschool (UPK) or others.
You will receive information about next steps and where and how to receive the support your child may need.
An ECHO Screening is the first step to connect families to the community support they may need to thrive!
